In this class you will submit one self tape a week.
4 Week Drill/Self-Tape Feedback Class – Info
In the self tape class you will submit one self tape a week. Material will be provided or you can submit tapes you have already made for auditions.
We will screen share the tapes and learn through review and critique the specifics of making a break out tape. This is a true learn by doing class!
Some of what we will work on:
- Creating moments that grab the viewer
- Pacing
- Dynamic opening and closing beats
- Active listening
- Sustaining intensity levels
- Keeping it an audition – not a performance
And in the last week, I’ll give each student a piece that will demand the best of all these qualities.
You will take it and turn into the best self-tape you have ever made!
